But it doesn’t mean we can’t get any spoilers before it’s time for the big launch. Like for most smartphones these days, news travels fast, and we already know quite a bit about the trio even though the company has ‘officially’ stayed quiet about it.
The latest leak comes from IceUniverse, a noted Twitter-based leaker that is known for revealing smartphone details before launch. The data has been gathered using Galaxy S10 smartphone cases designed for each phone.
As seen above, the phones are going to come in three different sizes of 5.8-inch, 6.1-inch, and 6.4-inch. It is quite similar to last year’s S9 lineup, as the screen sizes haven’t changed much.
Moreover, we also have more info related to battery capacities that will be used in the upcoming phones. As you’d expect, the bigger the screen size/footprint the bigger the battery.
The Galaxy S10 lite has a 3,100 mAh battery, then a 3,500 mAh unit powers the regular S10, and finally, the capacity goes up to 4,000 mAh for the S10 Plus.
Rumored Internals
Moving on to internals, another leak suggests that even the S10 lite is going to be powered by a Snapdragon 855 chipset, or an almost equivalent Exynos 9820 for some variants, which suggests that the smaller S10 is not a midrange version, but will deliver the same performance with smaller screen size. The screen protector design shows that the Lite version doesn’t have a curved panel but will use a flat panel, so it means the design curves are being reserved for the more expensive S10 Plus version. It also lines up with previous rumors about the S10 Lite featuring a flat display.
