Launched back in September, Xiaomi’s
mid-tier Mi 9 Lite has just made it to Pakstan. The Mi 9 Lite is yet
another addition to Xiaomi’s already crowded Mi 9 lineup, which includes
models such as, Mi 9 Pro, Mi 9T, Mi 9SE, and 9T Pro. This latest
arrival – the Mi 9 Lite, is the most pocket-friendly member of the Mi9
family but it features hardware which rivals even a few recent
flagships.
Xiaomi
Pakistan’s official Facebook page teased the Mi 9 lite for few hours
and soon after, the handset goes on sale at the official mi store. We
already knew the spec sheet and the design details and now we have the
official price too.
Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite
packs some impressive hardware and an attractive design to boot.
Measuring at 6.3 inches, the Super AMOLED display produces a resolution
of 1080 X 2340 pixels and a density of 403 PPI. On the front, you’re
looking at paper-thin bezels and an equally light chin. Sitting on the
top-center is a front-facing selfie camera housed inside a minute
drop-notch.
On
the flip side, you’re looking at a triple-camera set up in a vertical
arrangement surrounded by gradient-featuring aluminum back panel.
Nestled under the 9 lite display is an integrated fingerprint sensor.
Speaking of cameras, this mid-ranger offers an exceptional 48-megapixel
main rear-lens, coupled with a 13-megapixel ultrawide angle sensor, and a
2-megapixel depth-sensing lens. And you also get a generous
32-megapixel front-facing selfie snapper.
Under the hood, the
lite variant of Mi 9 sports 6 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of storage,
which complement a Snapdragon 710 processor, clocked at 2.2 GHz. This
hardware package draws power from a 40,30 mAh battery which comes with
an impressive 18W of fast-charging. Both 32 GB and 64 GB storage
variants run on an MIUI 10-skinned Android Pie (9.0).
Note that Xiaomi rebranded the Xiaomi Mi CC9 – a model which was
exclusively launched in Asia, as Mi 9 Lite and released it globally. The
handset is currently on sale at the official Mi store website at just
51,999 Pakistan rupees and will soon be available offline at the retail
stores nationwide.
