Last month, OPPO officially released the Reno lineup. The new series
has created a lot of buzz in the international market, due to its
affordable price and outstanding hardware performance. Now, the Oppo K series is making headlines, as recently, all the key specs of the handset got leaked on the social media.
There were reports earlier of oppo being working on a new mid-ranger Oppo K3,
but that was all about it. We didn't have any specific hardware
information until the latest leak came across, exposing the entire
handset specification.
Sources leaked today specifically reveal that OPPO K3 will have a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen, which is even bigger than the recently launched A5s. And yes not IPS but AMOLED, with Full-HD+ resolution. The smartphone is said to have a self-rising selfie camera similar to the "shark fin" style mechanism on OPPO Reno. Moreover, OPPO K3 will also have an in-display fingerprint sensor.
In terms of performance, OPPO's upcoming mid-ranger will use the Snapdragon 710 chipset, with 8GB of RAM and 128 gigs of internal storage. OPPO K3 also owns a dual camera setup at the back with a 16MP + 2MP configuration. A 16MP pop-up selfie snapper appears at the front when needed.
Further information reveals that OPPO K3 has a 3,680 mAh battery, that's way less than the A3s but the good thing is that it also supports fast charging VOOC 3.0. With a body size of 161.2 x 76 x 9.4mm, the device weighs a bit heavy at 191 grams. The handset features a ColorOS 6.0
based platform on top of Android 9 Pie OS. Currently, the expected
price is rumored to be around 300 USD which converts to some 42,000 PKR without taxes.
