Huawei Y7 Prime 2019 gets a Price Cut in Pakistan, now retailing at a Super Low Price

December 17, 2019
Released back in January this year, the Huawei Y7 Prime 2019 is one of the first all-screen designs by Huawei. It introduced a dew-drop notch before they became a ubiquitous trend. A mid-ranger at the time of its launch, the Y7 Prime now squarely falls into the entry-level price bracket. And acknowledging this fact, Huawei has knocked off a couple of thousand rupees of this phone. You can now avail the Y9 Prime 2019 at a discounted price at your nearest store.

Initially retailing for 27,700 PKR, Huawei has slashed the price tag with a 4,700 PKR discount. The Y7 Prime 2019 is now being offered at a more competitive, 22,999 PKR starting price. You get a 6.26-inch dew-drop-toting HD+ display, with an 80 percent screen-to-body ratio. Housed inside the notch is a 16-megapixel selfie shooter. The back panel is available in multiple textures and shades. You can pick from an imitation faux leather Amber Brown, or polished and trendier Aurora Blue, Midnight Black, and Coral Red.
As for the Huawei Y7 Prime 2019 optics, you’re looking at a twin-camera setup on the back, packing a modest 13-megapixel primary lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Flanking this dual-camera is a traditional fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, you get 3 GB of RAM and 64/32 GB of native storage.

Note that it’s only the 32 GB storage variant that’s eligible for this discount. The Y7 Prime 2019 runs on a Snapdragon 450 chipset and is backed by a 4,000 mAh battery. The battery supports 10W fast-charging. In addition to fingerprint unlocking, the Y7 Prime 2019, also features Face Unlock 2.0.

It runs on a slightly outdated EMUI 8.2 based on Android Oreo (8.1), but for an entry-level phone, that’s a bargain. Do you think Huawei Y7 Pime (2019) aged well and if the new Huawei Price tag does make any difference? Let us know what you think in the comments down below!
